Providing the appropriate level of protection to the user, the mobile device, the network, the data, or all of these based on risk in a mobile systems environment.
Mobile Application Infrastructure
The hardware, software, and control systems necessary to support mobile applications.
Mobile Application Industrial Manufacturing
The use of mobile technology in industrial manufacturing. Many manufacturing facilities will require that mobile devices have DIV 1, Class II certification and must be certified to be intrinsically safe before they can be used inside the plant.
Mobile Device Management (MDM)
The process of securing, monitoring, managing, and supporting mobile devices deployed across mobile operators, service providers, and enterprises.
Mobile Application Management (MAM)
The software and services responsible for provisioning and controlling access to mobile apps. This differs from MDM as it focuses on application management providing a lower degree of control over the device.
